We’re Here For You

Here at Oak Hall, our company has weathered many storms. Established in 1889, we’ve been in continuous operation through hard times such as the Spanish Flu of 1918, the Great Depression, and two World Wars. But through all of this, the coronavirus pandemic seems to be mounting the most serious challenge we’ve ever seen for colleges’ and universities’ commencement ceremonies.

We understand that this is a tough time in the lives of both students and university administrators who are dealing with the impact of COVID-19. Our hearts ache with graduates who won’t be able to partake in traditions and ceremonies in which their hard work and accomplishments are recognized. We believe in the power of accomplishment – it’s that feeling of pomp and circumstance that we work so hard for each day of the year.

We want to encourage you that all is not lost. There are opportunities for offering your graduates an alternative recognition in some format. We have been in touch with a few universities who are considering a virtual commencement. In addition, universities may consider allowing graduates to return at a later time for small reunions and photos on campus.

In any case, we want you to know that we are here for you. As your partner in university and college commencement ceremonies for 131 years, we are able and willing to help you execute whatever form of commencement you decide to pursue.
